Gorgeous Hair❤ - French Plait Updo Bow

Gorgeous Hair❤ - French Plait Updo Bow

Step 1

Brush all the hair through to remove any knots and tangles.

Step 2

Section the hair into two parts and tie the top big in a hair elastic, you'll need this hair for later on in the tutorial.

Step 3

Select a section of hair from the neckline and split it into three smaller sections, this is where you will begin to do the french plait.

Step 4

The french plait goes up the back of the head, I find it a lot easier to do if you flip your head up side down, so its just like doing a normal french plait - Refer to french plait tutorial if you are unsure.

Step 5

Once you have included all the hair from the bottom section of hair which you made earlier, finish the french plait off with a standard plait at the end and hold with a hair elastic.

Step 6

Collect all the hair up in to a band including the plait to you just did and put the hair in a pony tail.

Step 7

Tease all the hair whilst it is in a pony tail to give your bun that fuller thicker look, take the elastic band out and redo the hair, into a bun.

Step 8 (Optional)

If you like you could even finish the bun of so it looks like this, to do the bow you simply split the bun into two symmetrical sections, the plait in which you did at the back of the head, pull out through the head elastic so it is still attached to the bun but you have a bit of the plait to play with, simply pull it over the two sections that you made that are symmetrical and grip it to the back of the hair bobble, making sure the head elastic at the end of the plait is tucked away hidden.

Love Favourites❤ - Real Technique's Core Collection Brushes

Real techniques core collection
Buffing brush - This is the biggest brush in the collection and probably the most famous, seeing as the pixiwoo sisters use them in every video, no wonder it's so raved about. This is the brush I use for my foundation and since getting it I haven't used anything else I find it works with the majority of liquid foundations that I have tried.. I also use this brush with creme bronzer and it works brilliantly for that too.

Contour brush - The contour brush is my personal favourite, I think it's everything a contour brush should be... Small but not too small, and tapered at the point. It places just enough colour on the face and blends it beautifully at the same time.. It's worth buying the kit purely for this little beauty.

Foundation brush - Although labelled as the foundation brush, I rarely use it for this puropse because as as stated before I like most people use the buffing brush for foundation, as I find this brush far too small.. I do however use it for my concealer and I find it perfect for this.

Detailer brush - This brush is good for multipurpose use, I tend to use it mostly for lips but it is also great for the inner corner of the eye and brow bone, I sometimes even use it as a concealer brush for small areas like the sides of the nose.

Love Favourties❤ - Beauty Sleep (Napwell)

Love Favourties❤ - Beauty Sleep (Napwell)

Who doesn't love sleep right!? Snuggling, pyjamas and soft pillows it doesn't get much better than that. I don't know about you guys but there is nothing I love more than getting home after a long day and sinking into a hot bubble bath and then getting into my nice warm bed, but getting a good nights rest is important for your health too, it improves your physical health, promotes healthy brain function and helps emotional wellness.. it also helps with those dark circles we all spend hours on concealing every morning.

Napping in particular is a great way to regain your energy and focus during the day, Often the problem with naps is that horrible, groggy un-motivated feeling you get when you wake up, I normally wake up feeling even more tired than I did before I went to sleep and I also tend to have a throbbing headache *sigh*, the technical term for this is 'sleep inertia'

A company named napwell have come up with a solution to this problem, the worlds first nap mask....
How does it work?
The inside of the mask lights up gradually to wake you up via a stimulated sunrise so you wake up in a gentle natural way. The napwell mask will help to stop this feeling and wake you up feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of your day.

I think this is such a brilliant idea and I certainly look forward to trying it and seeing if it will help me shift that post nap feeling.

Love Life❤ - 5 Quick Gorgeous Tips

Love Life❤ - 5 Quick Gorgeous Tips

1. Brushes Our number one top tip will be make up BRUSHES, we can not stress to you how much of a difference a gorgeous set of brushes makes to your make up m'lovelys. So make sure you splash out a bit on some gorgeous brushes.
We advise 'Real Technique' brushes by 'Samantha Chapman', I admit both me and Eden are a bit of brush fiends. I known that Eden herself has (many) more brushes than she really needs! But why not when they make such a drastic change to your look. The Real Technique brushes are also synthetic so they are cruelty free! For me this is such a massive bonus being an animal lover! I also find in comparison to natural brushes they are less prone to staining and shedding. Check out our 'Real Technique Brush Review' for more information.

2. Say Hello to Gorgeous Eyes Another top tip for all you LHG' readers is prepping the eyes! Before adding any of your eye make up blend a little of your concealer - creamy one preferably, just because the eye shadow powder tends to stick better - onto your lids and the inner corner of your eye this wont only give your eye shadow a base to stick to, but also conceal any redness.

3. Hello Gorgeous! Enhance your cleavage by dusting a shimmery golden body power on your chest, I recommend either the 'Roberto Cavalli' shimmering body power. It smells absolutely incredible, not only will you look gorgeous, but you'll be smelling it to or Body Shops 'The Sparkler' I purchased it a few weeks ago and I've had so much fun using it, just due to the applicant, but it also gives a more natural shimmer. To keep your beautiful body shimmer in place, first apply body lotion (I use the 'Ted Baker Souffle' it's very creamy and has a lovely texture once on the skin, will most definitely be doing a review on the Ted Baker collection i own) I find by applying this body lotion it will prevent the body powder ruining your outfit.

4. Perfect your Scent Before leaving the house, add a scent to your beautiful locks, a smell lingering in your hair will blow all over the place! Using an oil based Scent usually works better because it doesn't dry out, and the smell usually lasts all night. Body Shops Coconut spray, has to be my ultimate favorite, although it isn't oil based, I find it the most prominent and long lasting.

5. Pump up the Gorgeous Starting with dry locks, tease the hair at the roots, flip your head up side down and mist the underneath with hair spray (Got2Be being one of the best hair sprays as it holds the hair in perfect position) switch to cold, aim the hair dryer at random spots on the head this creates pockets of air so they look extra bold and glamorous!

A lot more gorgeous tips coming up!

Love Favourties❤ - Gosh Velvet Touch Eyeliners

Hey guys, today's post is on these little beauties Gosh Velvet Touch Eyeliners...
I was pondering around Super drug, when these caught my eye and I had to grab them. We have had a few ideas for bright makeup tutorials -coming soon ;) - and these bright eyeliners are perfect for that. Copper girl and Bananas are more your everyday colours, were as the rest are quite out there and bright.

Green Devil - A dark-ish matte green, filled with pigment.
Blueberry Ice - A light lilac colour, lacks in pigment and very chalky doesn't go on very smooth.
Blue Lagoon - A medium matte blue, very smooth, very pigmented this is the one I am most excited to use.
Copper girl - Warm bronze with a slight shimmer, smooth good pigment.
Bananas - Champagne gold, leaning towards the yellow side.. this is very shimmery and would be gorgeous in the waterline.

They are also completely smudge proof

The matte colours in this range I find to be the most pigmented and smooth, I am disappointed in Blueberry Ice but overall these were a good find!

Gorgeous Hair❤ - Dutch Plait

Gorgeous Hair❤ - Dutch Plait

Step 1

Brush the hair so that you remove any knots or tangles, so you can easily work with the hair.

Step 2

To start a dutch plait you get a large sub section then split it into three smaller sections, you twist the outside section into the center on both sides.

Step 3

You then start picking up hair and twisting it into the braid, by twisting the outside strands, with the hair you've picked up, into the middle you get a nice full look.

Step 4

Pulling the strands of hair into the middle, it begins to look like this, once you get to this stage all of the stray hair should be included in the plait, you then carry on bringing the outer sections into the center to finish off the last of the plait.

Step 5

You then place a hair bobble in the end of the plait - preferably a similar colour to your hair - and it should look like this.

Step 6

If you prefer the scruffy hair look, grab each side of your plait in your palms and pull it outwards, we prefer this look just because the plait looks bigger and fuller! Add little bows to give it that girly touch or maybe a head chain for a more retro look... up to you

Gorgeous Hair❤ - Fish Tail Plait

Gorgeous Hair❤ - Fish Tail Plait

Step 1

Brush the hair straight down to remove any knots and tangles so that you can easily work with it

Step 2

Once you have brushed the hair separate it into two sections. Take a piece of hair from left side and pull it into the centre of the plait passing it to the right side. Then get a piece of hair from the right side and pass it over to the left side. This is the process that will be used throughout the plait

Step 3

After you have been passing hair from the left to the right and right to the left your plait should begin to look like this. It takes a while but it's totally worth it!

Step 4

The plait will now be beginning to look something like this. Continue this process all the way to the end. It begins to get harder because there is less hair the further you move down the plait.

Step 5

When you're at the end of the plait simply put a elastic band in. To make the plait look thicker and fuller hold the plait with he palms and your hand and pull it outwards.

Step 6

THE FINISHED PRODUCT! Add abit of hair spray and maybe even some cute little flowers or even a pretty head chain!
